I post about Tokyo Solamachi last post. There are so many stores in Tokyo Solamachi. I'd like to show you the Kazashi store, where I'm interested in. Kanzshi is the traditional hair ornament for women. We put our hair up with Kanzashi. In my image Kanzashi were used in the old days. But recently many fashonable Kanzashi are sold.

Shinagawa-Juku was the one of the fifty-three station of the Tokaido. The Tokaido is the most important five routs at the Edo era. It's connecting Edo (Tokyo) to Kyoto. Shinagawa-Juku was the closest rout to Edo. People from Kyoto usually stayed for a break, bought something new, eat dishes at Shinagawa-Juku before getting in Edo. Some people bought a pare of new zouri (shows) to change the zouri worn out. Shinagawa-Juku was the place for getting ready to reach Edo. So Shinagawa-Juku was prosperous because of the closest to Edo.
