Tokyo Station

Tokyo Station is the railway station in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. Here is the Marunouchi business area. Tokyo station is the busiest station in Japan in terms of number of trains per day more than 350,000 passengers pass through everyday. Tokyo station is the travel gateway of Shinkansen bullet trains bound for many regions. 

Tokyo Station
Tokyo station opened in 1914. It turns 100 years old last December. The three story red brick building was designed by Kingo Tasuno and Manji Kasai. Tokyo station was damaged during World WarⅡ. The original outlook was lost. Tokyo station was restored design as the original in 2012. The third floor and the domes were restored.

You can see Tokyo station from Marunouchi building and Shin Marunouchi buildong. arunouchi building and Shin Marunouchi buildong are in front of Tokyo station.

Marunouchi Building
Marunouchi building was built in 1923. It's the multipurpose complex. You can see the view of Tokyo station at the small observation deck on the 5th floor.

Shin Marunouchi building is in next to Marunouchi building. 

Shin Marunouchi building
Shin Marunouchi building was built in 1952 and rebuild in 2007. Shin Marunouchi building is the multipurpose complex too. You can see the view of Tokyo station on the 7th floor.

The area in front of Tokyo station is still under construction.
