Tokyo Skytree

The Tokyo Skytree is the television broadcasting tower in Sumida, Tokyo. A height is 634 m and it's the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest structure in the world. The Tokyo Skytree opened on May, 2012. It became a major symbol of Tokyo. It has many restaurants and shops, aquarium and planetarium.

You get off the Oshiage station and go outside, you can see The Sky Tree from here.

Before you go to the Tokyo Skytree, you can go to the Tokyo Solamachi Dining Skytree View to see the view of Tokyo at the 30th and the 31st floor.

The view of Tokyo from the Tokyo Solamachi Dining Skytree View at the 31st floor. The Sumida river is running.

From the 30th floor, you can see the Tokyo Skytree up close.

You can see the Tokyo Tower.

You can see the dome of planetarium and the skate rink when you look down.

I went down the 8th floor and saw the Sky Tree at the dome garden.

Design of the Tokyo Skytree is based on the following three concepts

"
- Fusion of neofuturist design and the traditional beauty of Japan,
- Catalyst for revitalization of the city,
- Contribution to disaster prevention - "Safety and Security"
"

You can see the observation deck of the Skytree. The two observation decks are located at heights of the 350 m and 450 m.

Then I went to the Tokyo Skytree.

The streetscape of Tokyo was painted on the wall. The bright parts were the projection and the ships went by the Sumida river.

The 12 Japanese traditional crafts express the beauty of the Tokyo Skytree architecture.

Here is the entrance of the observation deck.

People were enjoying skating under the Skytree.

I recommend that you should see the view of Tokyo from the highest observation deck in Japan. The Tokyo Skytree is very beautiful architecture. I think that you should see the Skytree from the distance. That's better to see the Skytree more beautifully. Next time I want to show you the best view spot to see the Tokyo Skytree!!
