Yokohama Chinatown, Japan

I went to Chinatown in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture. Yokohama Chinatown is the largest Chinatown not only Japan, but also Asia. Chinese trade merchant arrived at Yokohama in 1859. They built school, community center and many facilities in Chinatown. My mom loves Chinese food. So she took me there when I was a child. I like to have steamed meat bun while walking around Chinatown.

Street

Edosei is a popular store with steamed meat bun. I love their steamed pork bun and bean-paste bun very much. Many Chinese restaurants lined the street.

Many restaurants and shops lined the street too.

I went in a gift shop.

Hop pepper charm. We have many charms, but we don't have a hot pepper charm in Japan.

Panda chopstick rest was so cute.

People were preparing a celebration of Chinese New Year on February.

I felt quite different view from Japan. I wonder if I were in Japan. It was interesting.
