Yamashita Park and Marin Tower in Yokohama

Yamashita Park is a public park in Naka Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture. Yokohawa was destroyed by the Great Kanto earthquake on September 1, 1923. Yokohama city made reclamation land, then Yokohama park opened on March 15, 1930. Yokohama park has an area of 74,121 square meters. It's good to take a walk after having dish at Chinatown.

Hikawa Maru

Hikawa Maru is a Japanese passenger and cargo ship that Yokohama Dock company built for Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha. She went on a voyage for a long time. She is berthed as a museum ship at the Yokohama port.

A flock of seagulls was resting on the anchor.

You can see the building in Sakuragichou from Yamashita park. The night view must be beautiful. Unfortunately it was getting cloudy.

Yamashita park is wide. It's good to see the ocean sitting on this bench.

I went to Yokohama Marine Tower near Yamashita Park.

Yokohama Marine Tower

You can see the view of Yokohama at the observation tower on 29th and 30th floor. I don't have acrophobia. But I felt the floor was a little tilted to the window. So that scared me so much.

It was getting cloudy more.

It's the Yokohama Bay Bridge.

You can see Yokohama Landmark Tower on the left, Queen's Square A, B, C, on the middle and InterContinental Yokohama Gland Hotel on the right. Can you see the Ferries Wheel in front of the Queen's Square?
Yokohama complex in the distant.

I could see Yamashita Park and Hikawa Maru well.

You can look down the window on the floor.

I relaxed at the cafe in the Marine Tower. It was a nice cafe with natural light from the big windows. I love there.

I drunk tea as usual.

Yokohama is very neat and beautiful city. Most of my friends live around Yokohama. Yokohama is a comfortable place to live.

Enjoy Yokohama!!
