Japanese superstar yuru-chara "Funassyi"

Yuru-chara is creating a boom in Japan now. Yuru-chara is an anime style cartoon local mascot character. Yuru-chara was created for promoting local products in each prefecture in Japan.

There is a very popular character called "Funassyi". Funassyi is a mascot character in the city of Funabashi, Chiba. He is a fairy of pear. Pear is the local fruit in Chiba. He is the fourth children of 274 siblings... His favorite food is peaches.

Why is Funassyi so popular?

The other characters don't talk, but Funassyi talks loud and energetic. He usually speaks ending his sentence with "nassyi". And he jumps really high and shouts "Hyahaaaa". He is very wise. He speaks Chinese very well and English too. Funassyi increases his activities in the world like USA, England, France, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Funassyi is interviewed by CNN in June 2014. They introduced "Funassyi is a superstar in a pear costume."

Funassyi doesn't belong to the agent. He does all work by himself. He book a schedule, ask phone calls and makes out an invoice. He edits all his goods.

He is also a singer. He released a CD single, "Funa Funa Funassyi". He will release a first full album on December 17. 2014.

I'm a Funassyi's fan. I like his sense of humor. He has more than 1 million followers. His tweets are so funny.

I hope that he will have more fans in the would!!
